With the iPhone 7 almost ready for release, many are deciding between the iPhone 7 Plus, or a phone manufactured by Apple’s nemesis, Samsung. Namely the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
As technical specifications have already been released, we wanted to do an unbiased comparison of the two smartphones head-to-head, to see which phone can truly take the crown over the other. This comparison compares nearly all features of both phones, and leaves it up to the buyer to make their own opinion.
Obviously technical specifications are not all that matter on a phone. Many people purchase phones because of their design, ecosystem (i.e., iOS ecosystem), or simply for the brand. Samsung clearly took the victory here, highlighting its impressive 77% increase in pixel count vs. the iPhone 7 Plus. Additionally, the pixel density is 33% greater and the phone does all this while being 16% lighter than the iPhone 7 Plus.
I think what is most important (and left out of the table), is that the Galaxy S7 Edge currently come with a FREE Gear VR or 256GB memory card, which is a fantastic offer.
